Biography

Mr. Perrée started his racing career as a Steward in Jersey in the 1990’s flying back from Moscow, Russia where he was based. He was made up to the Channel Island Racing and Hunt Club (CIHRC) in 2007. Having spent many seasons as a Steward he became Stewards Secretary or Stipendiary Steward for the islands in 2008 and has covered almost every meeting in the Channel Isles since. Mr. Perrée was appointed Head of Racing after the CIRHC formed the Channel Islands Horseracing Authority in 2018 for the purpose of carrying out the regulatory and licensing functions for the islands.

Mr. Perrée was appointed as representative of the CIRHC to the European & Mediterranean Horseracing Federation (EMHF) in 2013 and in 2016 was elected to its Executive Council in 2016, he also acts as the central liaison point for contact with the British Horseracing Authority for the islands.
